For more than a thousand years Mount Athos hosts some of the greatest Orthodox Christian monasteries, one of the most significant of which is Τhe Holy & Great Vatopedi Monastery. The fields surrounding the Monastery, consist of a natural environment entirely unaffected from the modern world. A flourishing flora and animal wildlife harmoniously co-exist with centuries’ old olive groves and other cultivations nourished by the tireless monks of the Monastery for generations. A total of 110 hectares are being cultivated and all cultivations are certified organic. We maintain the tradition and we apply modern technics. We insist on the purity of the organic way of cultivation and we bring up the best of every single product.
